25 Delicious Homemade Dog Treat Recipes - Kat Balog (1)

I have a thing for cats. Like a ‘thing’. I am pretty obsessive. My name is Kat, I have four cats, I have cat jewelry and cat tattoos. I even have tons of cat knickknacks. That doesn’t mean that I don’t love dogs though. Dogs are beautiful and fun. I had dogs all growing up because my mom hated cats. I had a wonderful Chow who loved me so much. She would wait for me to get home and she would lay across me (she was gigantic) when I played outside. I havent had a big dog since her. However, my grandmother has three big dogs and two small ones and we visit her every Sunday. I taught her oldest dog tons of tricks and I always bring them prizes. One of the things I told myself that I would start doing for them and my dog this summer is making homemade dog treats. I have tried some recipes fromHomemade Dog Treats: Simple and Easy Recipes for Your Best Friend which is awesome. I like seeing other people’s creations as well though. So this list of 25 Delicious Homemade Dog Treat Recipes is a great start for me to begin to make things for my adopted babies. Some of these recipes are for people too so you can whip up a batch for your best friend and also for your ‘best friend’. I know. That was corny but I couldn’t help myself. You can buy adorablecookie cutters and silicone baking pans in the shape of dog bonesand mini paws to make them even cuter. And if you want to take the easy way you can even buy aBake-A-Bone The Original Dog Treat Maker.
